Biofibres is big in Alberta
Alberta is taking the lead in the burgeoning biomaterials industry. The biofibres program through Alberta Innovates Tech Future is the largest of its kind in Canada, offering solutions "from seed to final product". Alberta Innovates is a key partner in the Alberta Biomaterials Development Centre, one of the largest, most comprehensive biofibre development programs in the world. This centre provides a single window to access all the biomaterial expertise Alberta has to offer.
